Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Toolbelt mobile application (the "App") provided by Suki App Studio ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What the App is
The App is a set of everyday measuring tools and calculators: a level, an angle finder, a camera laser line and plumb, an on-screen ruler, distance and height estimates (including an AR tape measure), calculators for units, lengths, slopes, triangles, stairs, areas, materials and electrical values, a metal finder, a compass, a sound meter, a light meter, a magnifier and a flashlight.
2. Measurements are approximate
The App uses the sensors, camera and microphone of a phone. They are not calibrated measuring instruments. Results depend on the phone, its case, its calibration, the surface, the light, magnetic interference, how the phone is held and other conditions, and they can be wrong.
Do not rely on the App where an error could cause injury, damage or loss, including structural, electrical, gas, fall-protection and safety work, or where a certified or legal measurement is required (for example inspections, contracts, trade or noise and lighting compliance). Check important values with a proper instrument. Calculator results are only as good as the values you enter, and do not replace building codes, electrical regulations, manufacturer instructions or the judgement of a qualified professional.
Do not use the App while driving or where looking at the phone puts you or others at risk. The flashlight's strobe can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy; do not point it at people's eyes.
3. Who may use the App
You must be at least 14 years old to use the App. If the law of your country sets a higher age for agreeing to these Terms or to the processing of your data (for example 16 in some European countries), you must have reached that age or have the consent of your parent or guardian.
4. Advertising
The App is free and funded by advertising delivered by Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the screen. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements and are not responsible for the products or services they promote.
5. Your data
Saved readings, notes, settings and calibration are stored only on your device, and photos you save go to your device's gallery. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data deletes what is stored in the App, and we cannot restore it. The Privacy Policy explains what is processed.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the App for unlawful purposes; interfere with or bypass the advertising or any security feature; reverse engineer the App except where the law permits it; or present the App's readings to others as certified measurements.
7. Third-party services
The AR tape measure runs on Google Play Services for AR (ARCore), provided by Google LLC under its own terms. Advertising is provided by Google AdMob. Your use of those services is also subject to Google's terms and policies.
8. Intellectual property
The App's software, design and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are licensed to you for personal and professional use on your own devices. This licence ends when you stop using the App or breach these Terms.
9. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free or that its measurements or calculations will be correct.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on a measurement or calculation made with the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes and termination
We may update the App or these Terms. Material changes will be announced inside the App or on its store page before they take effect. We may suspend or discontinue the App at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
