Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the One Wish Willow mobile application (the "App") provided by Suki App Studio ("we", "us"). By ticking the consent boxes and using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What the App is
The App is a work of entertainment. It shows a virtual novelty item, lets you turn it around on screen, write or say a wish and break the item in half.
The App does not grant wishes. Nothing in the App is a promise, prediction, professional advice or a guarantee of any outcome. The "manufacturer", the "customer service number" and the usage and warning text shown in the App are fictional elements reproduced from a film prop and are part of the fiction.
The App is an unofficial, fan-made work. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any film studio, producer or distributor. All third-party names and artwork belong to their respective owners.
2. Who may use the App
You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. The App contains horror-themed imagery and sound. If the law of your country requires a higher age or a guardian's consent, you must meet that requirement.
3. One wish per device
The App can be used to make one wish per device. Once the willow has been broken, it stays broken on that device. Reinstalling the App or clearing its data is not an intended way to obtain another wish, and we may prevent it.
4. Advertising
The App is free and funded by advertising delivered by Google AdMob. An advertisement is shown after you press "Make the wish"; the willow breaks only after the advertisement has been played to the end. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements and are not responsible for the products or services they promote.
5. Your wish, microphone and speech recognition
You can type your wish or dictate it. If you turn the microphone on, your speech is converted into text by the speech recognition service of your device (on most devices a Google service), which may process the audio on the device or on that provider's servers under its own terms. The App itself does not record or store your voice, and the text of your wish is kept only in the device's memory while the screen is open: it is never saved and never sent to us. You may use the App without granting microphone access.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the App for unlawful purposes; interfere with or bypass the advertising, the one-wish limit or any security feature; reverse engineer the App except where the law permits it; or use the App to harass or harm others.
7. Intellectual property
The App's software and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. This licence ends when you stop using the App or breach these Terms.
8. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. Any decision you take in connection with a wish made in the App is yours alone.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes and termination
We may update the App or these Terms. Material changes will be announced inside the App or on its store page before they take effect. We may suspend or discontinue the App at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
